4-9 December 2011, investigated flood-attacking situation and examined flood water quality in Bangkok and nearby areas (Nonthaburi Province and Pathum Thani Province)
The survey sites and water quality information (Coliforms, ammonia concentration: indicators for fecal contamination) can be viewed on the map below.

2011/12/04
In the morning, conducted aerial survey by helicopter starting from Bangkok through Nonthaburi and
Pathum Thani Province and ending at Ayutthaya Province for 90 minutes to keep track of the wide view
overlooked from the sky.

After that, surveyed the main roads surrounding Kasetsart University and Don Mueang Airport in
Bangkok and collected the flood water samples at 3 points.
2011/12/05
Surveyed Rangsit District, Pathum Thani Province. In overall, flood level was reduced, but in many places water was still remained.

Surveyed and collected additional water samples from along-side-canal residential areas which were visited last time.
2011/12/07
Surveyed and collected water samples in Bang Kruai District and Bang Yai District, Nonthaburi Province. Comparing to the 1st survey 2 weeks ago, water significantly reduced and flood situation was getting better.
