ReproMise (Apr. 2009 – Mar. 2014)
In relation to our reseach topics on “Development of new generation MBR” and “Development of on-site treatment technologies for toxic wastes”, we are now developing a new MBR system named “MBR+” for realizing water circulation in megaton or sub-megaton scale. In parallel, we are also conducting a function analysis and a design of optimized system for a Baffled MBR (BMBR) which is applicable to small to middle scale treatments.
WateR-InTro (2008.10-2013.9)
Based on outcomes from our research on “Development of new generation MBR”, we are promoting a collaborative research project on “Development of Water Reuse Technology in Tropical Regions” with research institutions in Thailand, which is supported by Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) within the framework of Science and Technology Research Partnership for Sustainable Development.
